Eise's work is rough and playful. In his paintings the viewer can really feel the intensity of movement and risk taking, in a way they are alive and intimidating. His statements can be bold, ironic, humorous or undercover, but in any case it is clear that the current times are interfering with his practice.

Eise is not the type of artist who settles in a specific style or technique, but instead continuously curious and energetic.

Through painting, Eise explores how images can hold energy and emotion and a kind of personal logic; a dialogue between the delirious and the composed. It’s a mess of conflicted feelings.

Rather than striving for the perfect form, Eise captures something more urgent and honest, creating a response to the chaos of the outside world acknowledging we are very much a part of it.

Faces blur into movement and chairs become the observers. There’s a constant play between the works themselves and how each one of them shifts the viewers perspective.
